Simona did everything she could to meet our needs. My husband has diabetes, so she arranged a special breakfast with unsweetened yogurt, fewer sweet biscuits, sugar‑free cookies, and more. The room has a small kitchenette where you can make coffee or tea, keep food and drinks cold, and there’s milk, yogurt, fruit juice, and cold charcuterie. Toast and jam are also in the cupboard. Just outside the room door, in the hallway, there are hooks where she puts fresh biscuits and bread ready each morning. As soon as you’re awake you can grab them and eat at your own pace—an enormous luxury. She’s also perfectly reachable via WhatsApp; if you want to eat earlier or later it’s no problem, she just adjusts the schedule. She cleaned the room every day, very tidy! She gave us great tips about the city (e.g., best places to eat, how to take the train, etc.) and things to watch out for (e.g., pickpockets). You get a key to the B&B, giving you a lot of freedom. The B&B is well secured with double locks and CCTV. The beds are not over 2 m; my husband is 1 m 87 and still had his feet exposed (he sleeps on his stomach). There is no lift, so you have to climb two floors.
