We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Terrelle and stayed in the (Grandmother's house) Casa di Civita, which offered good comfort, a very nice and panoramic terrace, and a special atmosphere that felt like my grandmother’s time. We received a warm welcome, interesting information about the area and walking routes, and everything was perfect. The tiny spot Terrelle sits on a sunny (950/1010 m high) and green mountain terrace above unique centuries‑old chestnut groves, with very antique and large chestnut trees that are like natural monuments. Casa di Civita has a good, comfortable location outside the little center, with parking next to the house, and offers a beautiful, unique panoramic view of the Mainarde mountain range. There are several good walking options, always with a great panorama and fairly comfortable conditions—just from the house, or from the street to Terrelle, or above Terrelle up to 1,200 m high, a very comfortable way to reach a point from which you’ll also have a wonderful view of Monte Cassino Abbey and Cassino.
