The room and bathroom were new and beautifully furnished, the location was very quiet, making it ideal for travelers on the move, and it’s great to have this option away from the main cycling routes. A dry bike storage spot would have been nice, and I would have appreciated a kettle in the room.

The accommodation was cheap and ideal for a one‑night stopover. Bringing my dog was no problem at all. There is no kitchen, but the host asked right when I arrived if I needed anything. The shared bathroom with a shower was surprisingly clean and modern, even with four people in the property. Walking 3‑4 minutes gets you beautiful country paths. The upper floor is quite noisy because of the building’s construction, so that might be useful to know if you’re traveling with a dog.

The price matched what was offered, the bed was comfortable, Wi‑Fi worked well, and I could park my car behind the house. It’s a simple, practical place suitable for one or two nights. For a solo female traveler it felt a bit adventurous, very far from the main road, in a small, deserted town. The landlord made me breakfast, which I appreciated, but I felt a little uneasy in his kitchen.
