The place is great, close to the train station, and the receptionist was friendly. The shower was a touch small, but nothing else stood out. It was a bit pricey, but that’s expected for a spot so near the city centre and train station.

We’d come back, but there are a few things to note: the bathroom is tiny and the shower box feels claustrophobic, the room itself is small, and two large suitcases make moving around tricky. On the plus side, it’s well‑located near the bus station and historic centre, clean, the bed is comfortable, everything works well, the breakfast is good, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

The Ibis team is fantastic; Frau Gerlach and Yvonne are great. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The location is perfect. There’s plenty of space in the underground parking.
