The beds were super comfy and the sheets smelled amazing; the place is dog‑friendly and everything you could need is already included, so we’ve already booked our next trip. The only tweak that would make it perfect is enclosing the decking area outside so we could keep the dogs with us without worrying about them running off.

This spot is amazing, quiet, and in a safe location. The only two things that were missing were a hairdryer and some salt.

The location was spot‑on for getting to everything between Newport and Swansea, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and private. We didn’t report it, but there was no hot water in the mornings, so we can’t raise it as a concern since we didn’t give anyone a chance to fix it.

The place is in a beautiful spot with horses in the yards, which was lovely. The lodge itself was nice but needed some upkeep because a few things were broken or not working. The beds were very uncomfortable, we had no outdoor furniture (every other cabin had some) so we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the weather, the front door didn’t open properly, a couple of the windows were off, and the toilet seats were loose and poorly fitted.
