“残念な点もあったがすばらしいゲストハウス”
Resumo desta avaliação
The guest house has a spacious balcony and is beautifully designed; it comes with a kitchen and washing machine, and it feels like a seaside villa, as other reviews mention. I thought it was worth more than the price. If I visit again, I’d prefer a room with a bathroom, because the cheapest room had a bathroom outside the room, which was a bit far and inconvenient outdoors. Overall, it was clean, and the frequent freight trains passing the nearby tracks gave a nostalgic travel vibe for train lovers. On the first day, the sheets and duvet covers were present, but the pillow had no cover (it clearly requires a cover), which was annoying, so I sent a polite message in Georgian. The host came to the room, but when I realized he only spoke English, he reacted helplessly and started chatting with other guests who had come to check the room. In the end, another guest brought what seemed to be a spare pillow cover, but the host thanked that guest and barely looked at me, giving the impression that I wasn’t welcome, which made the first few days feel down and uncomfortable. I was disappointed because it seemed like a lovely place, but maybe I over‑concerned myself. Also, the real host was traveling, and a replacement was present, as another man who paid immediately mentioned, so perhaps the real host would have welcomed me more warmly. If the host spoke Georgian or Russian, the situation might have been very different.
