The location is beautiful, with a great view from the balcony. The room and bathroom are spacious. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. However, the floor was not swept; there was hair and dirt on the ground, and the balcony window was dirty when I arrived. The bed creaked a lot. It was a shame we weren’t told at breakfast that we could order pancakes, toast, etc.; we only found out later from other guests, especially the Italian ones. We thought it was a language barrier, so they only mentioned the basics, but the breakfast was still pretty good without the extras.

The breakfast was very good and everything was fresh, though it leaned sweet‑heavy (typical Italian), and we missed cheese, sausage, and ham. It would have been great to know that dinner is also available and that you can enjoy a quiet glass of wine in the evening; if we had known, we wouldn't have gone to a restaurant on the way. A short description of the approach would help, as Google leads you through a cumbersome residential area.

The rooms are very comfortable, with plenty of wooden details, flooring, tables, and tasteful décor.

The place is magical. Cleanliness and coziness in a fairy‑tale setting. We couldn't figure out who keeps this hillside house with a beautiful view, but the people are very welcoming and responsive. The Italian‑style breakfasts are not many, but tasty; the bread and orange juice are worth the price. Anyone who wants to retreat and feel like a public figure hiding from the yellow press should come to this enchanted corner. In the city itself, the silence is so profound that you can hear flies and ducks at any time of day. We fell in love with this spot and if it's Como, it's only HERE! There is no way such a place could exist!
