“Helpful hostess, good location and good food”

The room was nice and large. The hostess greeted me with a welcome drink and then cooked lunch for me. The place is pretty well‑located, roughly 800 meters from the Elephant Sanctuary and on the right side of town for heading to Udawalawe National Park. There was no wifi available.

The hosts were lovely. Chintha welcomed us with fresh juice and we received warm hospitality. Dinner was cooked for us, and they helped book a fantastic 6‑hour safari along with a packed brunch. The guide was great. The room was very clean and spacious, with hot water in a nice bathroom and tea/coffee in the room. It’s a bit out of the way, but that worked for us since we were only staying one night for the safari.

The rooms were incredibly clean, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!
