The room was roomy, bright and spotless, and the staff were friendly and got us settled quickly. But the view was down the street where the owners’ restaurant tables were, so the music and chatter kept going until after midnight and started again at 7 a.m., making it hard to get a child to sleep. On top of that the bathroom had no mirror in front of the sink, which is a bit inconvenient.

The room had all the basics and the staff were courteous, with parking close by. Unfortunately the blinds let in a lot of light early, and the nearby church bell at 8 a.m. woke us up, so I couldn't get a good night's sleep after a long day. The shower was just a head from a high spot, which was a bit awkward.

The room was spotless, cozy, and the balcony offered great views, plus a tiny fridge that stayed cold and fresh towels. But there were no mosquito nets, so the nights were hotter than expected and we had to keep the AC running all night, waking up to toggle it because it got too cold. We couldn't use the balcony because a wasp nest was in the outdoor AC unit, and with no elevator it was a bit of a climb carrying luggage up two floors. Still, it’s a solid choice overall.

The spot is great, with free street parking and a tidy room whose AC was perfect. The only downside was that the balcony window was broken.
