“Tra rigidità e confusione”
The hotel has huge potential: it sits in a strategic spot, the room was gorgeous with a lovely view, the dinner was excellent, and the front‑desk staff were very friendly despite a small slip‑up one evening. Improving communication would make the experience flawless. I believe hospitality also means giving guests all useful information for their stay without taking anything for granted. Unfortunately, I ran into several organizational issues: breakfast times were inconsistently communicated (first 7:00, then 6:30) and the buffet only opened at 8:00, which I found too late because I was already traveling. On the last day I couldn’t have breakfast because I only learned the night before that it wasn’t possible to get it early, making it impossible to plan my movements. I also received vague information about tours before I could see the printed program, and the transport pass was only handed over after I asked—never delivered to my companion. Finally, there was little transparency on extra costs, such as water at dinner and the city tax, which turned out to be €3.80 per person at checkout instead of the €2.80 indicated at booking. Given the strict enforcement of the hotel’s rules, it’s disappointing to see such disorganization in informing guests, which feels superficial.
