Green Elephant

The breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal, with everything from the beautiful ambiance to the peaceful, quiet atmosphere making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind; my wife and I truly enjoyed our getaway, but I had booked a specific room directly with the management and was only told at check‑in that the previous guest had extended their stay, so I was assigned a different room without any prior notice, which was disappointing and greatly impacted my check‑in experience.

“Decent stay, nice employees”

The accommodation was cozy and homely, with friendly staff and a chef who made tasty meals, plus a lovely and varied tea and coffee selection, yet the meal options were limited, fruits were not free (which was odd), the swimming pool was unusable because it wasn’t cleaned or maintained, there was no gym on the property, and rooms lacked a fridge.

“Excellent Service, value for money,”

What you see is exactly what you get: the rooms are clean and well maintained, the views are great, the staff are amazing and very professional, the in‑house chef is outstanding, and it feels like home.

“Great Stay”

The grounds and hotel are gorgeous, and I would definitely recommend it for a lovely stay in Lilongwe; it’s in a safe area where you can walk around freely, although a car is needed to get around well; the staff were exceptional but didn’t understand food allergies, and I had a few complications with food orders that were sadly common throughout my trip in Malawi.
