Check‑in was quick and the rooms were spotless.

Nothing special at all. The beds were completely uncomfortable and squeaked with every movement. The floor was filthy; we all wore white socks that turned black after a few walks. The floor would never have been wet. The air‑conditioner smelled odd, but we couldn't do without it because the room got too hot.
