The place was quiet and serene, the room was spacious, the welcome was friendly, and the garden lady surprised us. The location was a bit of a drive from the highway, and even though it was dog‑friendly, there was no fenced area or yard, so the dog couldn’t roam free.

The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to return a forgotten item after we had left; the rain kept us from enjoying the gardens, but we left the next morning with a rainbow in sight. The only downside was that we stayed for just one night.
