The building was converted from an old house and restored in a charming, original style. A large communal hot‑water tub in a truly evocative cave was a highlight. My room offered a lovely view of the river and village and faced the afternoon sun. Breakfast was served by a downtown bar just a five‑minute walk in the same pedestrian zone, a great compromise.

The location was perfect and the gorgeous hotel is definitely worth an overnight stay. Just make sure you don’t travel with large suitcases.
