“Insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt – Achtung bei der Zimmerwahl!”
We stayed at Rain Tree by Oak Ray and overall it was a solid experience, even though there are some “light and shadow” moments. The hotel feels a bit dated, but we still felt very comfortable. Our room was spacious and featured a large balcony. The highlight was the hotel’s observation point with a fantastic view of the surroundings. At exactly 18:30 we could watch an incredible natural spectacle: countless bats woke up and started hunting – a truly fascinating sight! The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The main drawback was the loud, old air‑conditioning system. The fans on the second‑floor hallway are extremely noisy, and we were initially assigned a room right there. The hotel’s response to our complaint was exemplary and very positive: they gave us a new room on the first floor without any fuss, and the rest of our stay was wonderful and very pleasant. We can recommend the hotel, but with the clear caveat that you should avoid a second‑floor room. I hope the air‑conditioning gets upgraded in the future, because the hotel definitely has a lot of potential.
