We arrived early afternoon to find the hotel locked. The host, who spoke very little English, eventually understood that we had a reservation and escorted us upstairs to see the room. We had booked a king room, and the pictures next to the room indicated a private bathroom. The host explained that all rooms share facilities: two bathrooms with two showers and two toilets per gender. The website did not mention shared facilities except for the quad room on the bookings.com listing. We paid $294.20AUS for two nights but the room lacked a bathroom, TV, fridge (I need to keep medication cool, so that was a major problem), garbage bin, hooks for drying towels, glasses for water, and coffee-making facilities. In the bathroom, the tap handles were removed from the bath in both bathrooms, and one of the ladies’ showers had the hot water tap removed. The lounge/kitchen/dining area could hold about 40 guests; seating in the kitchen area was for 8, lounge seating for 4, the TV was very small, a microwave had a message “please do not cook,” and the fridge was shared by all guests. We had paid for this room, so we stayed, but we looked around that afternoon for other options and found everything else either too expensive or fully booked. We saw a few couples look at the room and then leave immediately.

The hotel is clean and the staff are nice.

The place is not well maintained, there are no staff. There are many holes in the walls and floors, making it unsafe and not worth the money.
