“Good value hotel with access to airports and the cruise terminal”

The Sotetsu is linked by express bus to the Haneda and also Narita airports, and it's close to the cruise ship terminal. Several subway stations are nearby, most notably the Big Sight, and a hop on/hop off bus stop is within walking distance. The hotel fronts a large, continuous green belt with walking paths. Several large food courts are nearby. The breakfast is diverse, with lots of Japanese dishes and vegetables, and the breakfast room has a pleasant view. The checkin staff were courteous and capable. Housekeeping service was a little odd; you have to request towels by posting a request form near the door. But that wasn't a serious issue

“Smells like cigarettes and mold”

It was very near train stations and convenience stores. The entire place smelled like cigarettes and mold. It wasn't clean nor updated. We had to change rooms because the first 10 seconds in the first one triggered my asthma. The second one was less terrible but still didn't feel clean

“Stress”

Near the airport. M. You need to pick up all your things down stair like toothbrush toothpaste and my experience get me stress on their system

I loved the "extras" in the lobby (i.e., toothbrushes/toothpaste, face creams, hair products, etc.)
