The only downside was that breakfast lacked variety; the waffle maker wasn’t working and neither were the coffee machines.

“Nice hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful”

The place is right off the highway, surrounded by a bunch of restaurants, and the pool is a great bonus when traveling with kids.

“Poor staff”

The room was very clean and comfortable, but when we arrived the desk staff charged us for the room in the morning before our stay, and then we were hit with an undisclosed $50.00 fee. The room was hot and the AC thermostat was frozen; we called the desk, but no one came to fix it, and it only started working after we insisted. Several family members have asthma and COPD, so the heat was a real issue. Breakfast items were cold and not fresh. While leaving our room that morning, a rude front‑desk woman called at 11:02 to ask why we weren't out yet. The hotel needs new staff; the service here is far below other Holiday Inn Express locations.
