The site manager was very friendly and helpful, the view was beautiful, the facilities were close and clean, the fridge/freezer was useful, and it was quiet. The beds were a bit hard, there were no visiting food vans during our stay, and the bar was closed at the time.

The host was excellent and the landscape around the Pods is stunning, giving each pod a breathtaking view. There’s plenty of open space and the place is super dog friendly, making it a very special spot. I didn’t find anything I disliked, except that the bar café is closed because of staff shortages. They do bring in visiting food vendors, and there are facilities to BBQ, but if you’ve been out all day it would be nice to relax at an onsite café, especially in the mornings before heading out. It’s not a deal breaker, but an enclosed shaded area near the pods for dogs to settle while you shower would help, since locking them in the pod in hot weather isn’t ideal. A dog café and dog shower would push this to a 10/10.
