A very pretty old Japanese house that was modernised, featuring a comfortable futon and two great bathrooms for five guest rooms, with towels, kettle, fridge, and everything needed for a few nights; the room is spacious enough for one person, a bit tight for two, but it has a huge wardrobe. The location is excellent—less than two minutes to the station—and ideal for exploring Mitoyo and the surrounding area. The downside is that the room is inside the house with no window, which I found odd, and the proximity to the station means you hear and feel trains passing by.
