I was drawn to the hotel by its stunning design and the roomy, comfortable rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever we needed something. The view from the pool area is simply breathtaking. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. First, the gym is inadequate for a hotel of this caliber; there are only three treadmills and one other machine, which was broken during our stay. This should either be upgraded significantly or described more accurately, as guests expecting a proper hotel gym might be disappointed. Breakfast also fell short of the overall standard. We were a party of five, and finding a table was a challenge almost every morning. It seemed that guests from other Myconian properties also had access to breakfast at Utopia, many of whom chose it for its particularly beautiful setting. The breakfast selection remained virtually unchanged throughout our stay, and while it was acceptable, it never felt special, especially compared to the outstanding food at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The quality of those meals sets a very high standard, and it would be great to see breakfast raised to the same level. These are specific issues, but for a hotel positioned at this level, they do affect the overall experience.
