I found Islam again, more available this time; there’s a nice restaurant nearby, the station isn’t far, and I was alone in my room. Compared to the hostel from the previous night (same group), it was a lot better.

Everything was great: the beds were comfortable, towels were provided, there was a kitchen to cook in, and it was close to the train station. My friend and I were only planning to stay overnight, but I might have stayed longer. It’s a cozy spot with two cats.

The neighborhood was quiet and the view from my room was peaceful, plus the train station was close by – the train to Strbske Pleso itself felt like an attraction. The house’s renovation looked only superficial, unfinished electrical work and obvious signs of wear were present; the staff seemed to handle basic cleaning but maintenance was lacking.

Perfect hostel. Very clean, lovely staff and benefited from my own room as out of season. Last minute stay as on a motorcycle tour and price of stay was incredibly good value. 👍. Nothing. Ps there's a n8ce friendly bar at the petrol station next door and good food local food in the restaurant over the road
