“S ubytováním jsme byli spokojení a ostatním doporučujeme.”

The breakfast was rich, and dinner was classic Czech. The accommodation is low‑cost, which suited us because the cottage is within a short drive of all of Šumava, so it was enough for a night's stay. Two of the three nights there was a nightclub under our room until about 1 a.m.—that was tolerable. The real issue was unruly children who obviously don’t know how to behave in the common areas (hallways) at night; the owner does nothing about it, which is a problem for parents staying there.

The staff were very kind and professional, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and we brought a small dog without being charged any extra fee. The location was ideal and truly quiet. There was nothing we didn’t like. 😉

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the nature was beautiful, and we absolutely enjoyed it. Nothing to complain about.

Staying in the mountains, the staff were great. The exterior of the accommodation looked good, but the surroundings were raw. The rooms were terrible—furniture and entire rooms were 70 years old, the beds were awful, the mattresses were completely worn out, and the price was like a three‑star hotel.
