Located 3 km from Lake Lucerne, Hotel Höfli is situated in Altdorf's oldest building, dating back to 1768. This historic hotel features 2 restaurants, including a traditional Swiss restaurant and an Italian pizzeria, both offering outdoor seating on a scenic terrace. Rooms are traditionally furnished with cable TV, work desks, and hairdryers, within a short walk to the historic museum and Wilhelm Tell memorial.

The staff were friendly, but the ventilation noise from the company behind the hotel kept coming through at night.

The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was great, and there was no noise, even though the language barrier was a bit tough; the staff were very friendly! However, the room was hard to reach if you’re carrying a lot or not very mobile, so that’s something to know. The room felt a bit old-fashioned, and the price was a bit high, but that’s Switzerland.
