A fabulous place to stay, very sociable with a great bar and a free pool table. All the staff are really lovely. The breakfast was fantastic—banana pancakes for me all day long 😋. It’s really close to the river and walking street, only 5 minutes away. Privacy curtains in the room, constant air‑conditioning all day and night.

It wasn’t fancy, but for the price it was great value. A few blocks from old town. The host helped me rent a bicycle for the day and did laundry (35,000/kg), which came back clean and folded.

“Great hostel to be social. But needs some improvements”

The hostel sits next to the Ancient town, yet it’s quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable and each dorm has its own bathroom. The common area is social, with the pool table and bar being a great help. It’s not a party hostel, so it’s chill. The only downside is that the bathroom didn’t stay clean the whole week I was there, but the beds did. The common area also wasn’t cleaned properly.

The location and the bar nearby are positives. The lack of cleanliness was a problem: the bathroom wasn’t cleaned while I was there, it smelled like urine, and there were girls from other rooms coming in. There was mold on the ceiling and the air‑exhaust, dust on the fans, and one of the girls was eating when it was prohibited and the whole room was full of bugs.
