“Sehr empfehlenswert!”

We were warmly welcomed by Ludwine. Our room was beautiful, large, and offered a view of the well‑maintained garden visible from the breakfast area. Breakfast was abundant and varied. We were asked about our preferences and could use the fireplace lounge in the evenings for tea, wine, or beer. Because it was cool, Piet lit a fire in the fireplace—wonderful! All rooms were very clean and tastefully furnished. The beds were comfortable, letting us start the day refreshed. Nearby, we enjoyed a nice walk in Tongeren and visited the fantastic Gallo‑Roman museum. Thank you for a lovely stay; we’ll spread the word.

The hotel is right where you want to be, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Nothing really stood out as a problem, so it was an easy, pleasant visit.

We were greeted with a genuinely warm welcome and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast spread was far beyond what we expected—plenty of options and all delicious.

Staying with Ludwine and Piet was a real treat; they’re incredibly hospitable and the place feels like a peaceful hideaway. We took lovely bike rides straight from the property, enjoyed a varied breakfast that changed daily, and explored nearby culinary spots and beautiful cities—don’t miss the Duvel Bar. We’ll definitely be back.
