“Wonderful staff made our stay”

The location was really good, we booked last minute and the staff had no problem accommodating us. The staff here were the most helpful and kind we have come across in Vietnam! They helped us find places to eat, plan when to go to Train Street, and even assisted with our bags. It’s exceptional value for money. They even packed us a little bag of snacks when we were getting on our bus—so kind and thoughtful! We are returning to Hanoi in a week and will stay here again.

“Just an amzing stay”

Absolutely amazing staff whose overall attitude was embodied by the fact that they jumped up to open the door for me every time I entered the lobby. The desk staff speak native or native-level English, and were always checking in about my plans and needs, giving me extra water and even some breakfast items for my morning checkout. They did everything that could possibly be asked of hotel staff and more, and the hotel management should take note of this!. I stayed for four nights, and quickly realized that the WiFi signal in my room (seventh floor) rarely to never worked, especially in the evening. I had to go through a large amount of cell data as a result. The desk staff acknowledged and were sincerely apologetic that this is a consistent issue for their hotel, but it remained a challenge. While the cleanliness of the room was generally quite decent — especially for this price! — I did end up seeing two (smallish) cockroaches that appeared from a crack in the baseboard on consecutive evenings. I was fine shooing them back in, but that’s not an encouraging sign overall

Everyone at the reception was super, and the room was top. Even after our last night, they offered us a shower at the hotel in the late afternoon before heading to the airport and handed us a small bag with food and drinks for the day. The hotel is about a 15‑minute walk from the old quarter. The Wi‑Fi, however, doesn’t work very well.
