It was the perfect stopover: the staff were friendly, the rooms were simple, clean, and in a quiet spot. The pool was well maintained and clean, a great way to cool off from the heat.

The staff are exceptional, and the pool and outdoor areas are enjoyable. However, the walls were filthy, as if no one had cleaned or painted them in decades. The bathroom flooded, not in the usual Asian style but slanted opposite the drain, and even with a stick to clean, you still get wet when you sit on the bath. Heavy rain poured in through the bottom of the door, flooding half the room. The noise from passing cars and motorcycles prevented sleep, and without earplugs—my case—it was torture. I gave it a 6 because of the staff, but I would not return for even one night.

The setting is very calm with a small lush garden and a beautiful pool. It feels a bit old.

The place feels cozy and comfortable with a great vibe. We spent a lot of relaxing time there, and it’s peaceful yet lively because the family that runs the business is always around. The staff are very kind and smile a lot, making our stay very pleasant. The pool is a 10/10 experience in such heat.
