“Great water park and good housekeeping, but the poor all-inclusive service — particularly having to repeatedly chase and”
The water park and swimming pools were the biggest positives and the children really enjoyed them. The resort offers plenty of activities and facilities for families, and housekeeping was very good – helpful, responsive, and listened to our requests throughout our stay. Our issues were not with housekeeping but with the wider hotel service and how the advertised all‑inclusive package was run. Unfortunately, the service and basic standards did not match what we expected from a resort marketed at this level, especially considering the amount we paid. The overall service fell short of what I’d expect from an all‑inclusive resort compared to other resorts and holiday destinations we’ve visited. One of our biggest frustrations was access to basic drinking water and the promised minibar. The hotel advertised a minibar, but drinks and water were not automatically replenished each day and I repeatedly had to contact reception to request them. On one occasion, I called reception on extension 708 specifically asking for bottled water and was told it would be brought to our room. Five hours later, nothing had arrived. After waiting so long, I eventually had to leave the room and walk to a bar elsewhere in the resort simply to get water. Iman, the receptionist, was informed of this and later I found two bottles of drinks and a multipack of water along with a fruit basket and biscuits, which slightly remediated our frustration. She was always attentive when I approached her at reception and tried to help me with taxis and late checkout! This became even worse around the large water‑slide area. The bar conveniently located near the big slides was not open at all during our stay. Another bar in that area was operating, but appeared to serve only guests holding some form of company/event tickets. I asked them for water for my family and they refused to give me any, despite the bottled water being exactly the same water provided free of charge in the restaurants and other bars as part of our all‑inclusive package. This meant that while my family were at the large water slides, I had to walk from one end of the resort to another bar that would actually provide me with water, and then walk all the way back across the resort carrying the drinks for my family.
