The place is right next to the highway and the national park, so getting around is a breeze.
The room was spotless
They even cooked pizza on site, which was delicious

The hotel was wonderfully cosy and welcoming, surrounded by beautiful Austrian mountains; the atmosphere was warm and authentic, the room comfortable, and the location perfect for enjoying the peaceful alpine scenery. The hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome, and we would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Austria. The only drawback was that we stayed for just one night—we would have loved to spend more time here and explore the beautiful surrounding area.

The breakfast was very good and the hotel‑owner family very friendly. I was very satisfied with this hotel and will book it again if I have business in Gmünd. The restaurant in the evening is also very good. I found nothing that was not good.
“War nur eine Zwischenstation nach Kroatien”
The shower had mold, but the breakfast was still decent; the beds were a bit low, the mattresses were okay, the apartment was fine, and the toilet was clean. The shower and breakfast were the only negatives.
Posizione facilmente individuabile e raggiungibile, essendo situata sulla strada principale. La struttura nel complesso risulta leggermente datata, ma piacevole, nello stile montano della zona. Parcheggio contiguo alla struttura. Le camere, pur non essendo particolarmente spaziose, risultano essere comunque comode e fruibili. Colazione a buffet con buona scelta di dolce e salato. Consigliabile per una sosta o per una visita in Valle Malta
