Lotus Udawalawe

We absolutely loved our stay at Lotus Udawalawe! The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they offer excellent value for money, and the hospitality more than makes up for it. Tari was the loveliest host. He took us on a tour of the stunning garden and introduced us to fresh fruits growing there, including mangoes, Sri Lankan cherries and tamarind. It was such a lovely and authentic experience! The meals were delicious, and Tari even packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it during our early morning safari. We also arranged our safari through the accommodation, which was affordable and a really enjoyable experience. What made this place special was the warmth and thoughtfulness of the people. We would absolutely recommend Lotus Udawalawe to anyone visiting the area!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very peaceful and quiet place, perfect if you want to relax, recharge, and spend some time alone. The host is extremely friendly, positive, and always ready to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Definitely 5 stars from me! There is also a large open area nearby where you can sunbathe, practice yoga, meditate, or simply enjoy some time alone in complete peace and quiet. A great place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended! 🙏

A perfect spot for a night before or after the safari! The couple hosts with genuine warmth, rooms are spotless, the AC works, and the food is tasty (only eat there). The rooms are spacious and the courtyard is great, suitable for singles, couples, and families.
