The room was comfortable and spacious. Most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was great; we felt safe walking at night and it was close to the plaza and the San Camilo market. The breakfast was ordinary, a bit underwhelming for the room rate, and the start time was never honored; items weren’t ready on time and we had to request the same things daily, indicating a lack of coordination or staff. One staff member behaved entirely differently from the rest. We needed shelves or dividers in the closet to organize clothes. The advertised price isn’t very transparent and the extra VAT charge isn’t clearly displayed.

The hotel is on the northern edge of the historic city centre, everything worth seeing is easily reachable on foot, the narrow street in front of the building is often very busy, the rooms are quiet because they stick out to the back, there are hotel‑owned parking spaces and a small garden with a pool, which is unusually good for this location; most rooms are small but almost all renovated and well equipped, with minibar, lamps and sockets close to the bed; the shower room has hot water, shampoo, a soap dispenser and a hair dryer; breakfast is generous and tasty for Peruvian standards, with various breads, cooked ham, two cheeses, olives, cucumber and omelette pieces and fruit; sometimes the staff can't keep up with refilling, but if you politely ask they take care of it immediately; the employees are very friendly and helpful!

The hotel’s proximity to the historic center was perfect, the area felt safe, and the staff were very polite and quick to meet all our requests.
