The motel felt a bit old‑fashioned, but it was super comfy and fully equipped, and we slept great. We also took a lovely stroll along the Tongariro River, which is just a short walk from the motel. Nothing could have been better!

The hosts were very interesting, friendly and helpful, though the place was a bit dated; nevertheless the facilities were excellent for river and lake fishing.

It was a beautiful little cottage that I really liked; it was comfortable and very homely, and I didn't find anything I didn't like, so I was happy with it.

The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, covered parking was great, yet the room I stayed in was on the main road side of the property, and there was a lot of noise from trucks going past.
