Jorge was quick to reply on WhatsApp, which made checking in a breeze. The studio itself was modern, spotless and came with a little outdoor lounge and dining spot, right in the heart of Quepos and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The only downside was the constant hum of motorcycles outside – earplugs are a good idea.

After a two‑week stretch without air‑conditioning, this spot was a real relief – the bed was comfy, the location unbeatable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. I also loved the cozy balcony and the hassle‑free arrangement of a national‑park tour. On the flip side, the artificial scent was too strong for my sensitive nose, so I turned it off, and the central location meant it could get noisy, though earplugs solved the sleep issue.
