The accommodation sits just a stone's throw from the start of the Batur climb with Get Your Guide. The staff are friendly. Book this place only if you’re doing the night trek. The bathroom has mold spots. Finding a safe restaurant is impossible; if you’re worried about Bali belly we ended up eating instant noodles bought from a convenience store where the products seemed more appealing to flies than to customers.

The spot is superb, only 200 m from the Hill Trek start. The bathroom is great with a very hot shower and the bed is very comfortable. They arranged transport to our next stop. It’s a bit isolated, so you’ll need a scooter. Scooters are pricey in Kintamani; we used NusaWays, whose service was great (they deliver and pick up). The whole Kintamani area suffers from flies.

Very close to the departure point for our Mount Batur trek. The breakfast was very good. The area isn’t particularly nice and feels quite isolated.
