I originally didn’t want to write a review, but after reading others I’ll share my experience so you can form a realistic opinion about the lodging you might be considering and not be too swayed by my subjective reviews. Positives: location is great, a short walk from metro C; the room is tiny with a TV smaller than a PC monitor, but it’s clean; the bathroom is tiny with an inconveniently small shower, but functional; overall the pension looked clean and maintained. Negatives: Unfortunately, the downside is that I don’t want to return to this pension. You arrive early, rush, and want to register and pay before check‑in time even though the lady is present and apparently has nothing to work on? Impossible… You arrive early and need the toilet? You’re out of luck. No one cares before 15:00 check‑in… You expect to take a hot shower after arriving from the city at night? Forget it. At 23:30 only ice… You expect a breakfast worth 250 CZK per person? Not at all. Two people for 500 CZK (current tax) get a selection of salami, 10 deka, 4 kaiserky, coffee from the machine, some bagged teas, and homemade jams or whatever, yogurt for 7 CZK from Kauf. I recommend going to Alberta in the morning and buying the same for 2 kg. I also forgot two squares of homemade cake from the garden, which was actually pretty good. When paying, check the handwritten service invoice on the paper to see if the prices match the order. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and the lady charged according to the new price list, even though I had booked since March. She returned the money upon request, but that’s not how it should work! On the other hand, no one tries anything.
