We were very well received by the receptionist, who spoke excellent English and explained everything clearly. Unfortunately, the food did not match the price paid; extras were omitted and the dishes were served almost cold. English was already difficult, and despite our clear struggle with Italian, no effort was made to slow down so we could understand. The rooms seemed fine at first glance, but a closer look revealed they were somewhat outdated and in need of a refresh. The bathroom hygiene for our children was unacceptable—hair in the shower was a real issue. Breakfast was mediocre, and communication remained hard with no explanation of options.
