The location was great, the room was clean and the hotel was quiet at night, but the room was expensive for a standard rate.

The room size was a bit of a concern. A friend (single) we were traveling with had a larger room (a couple) for the same price.

Being in a historic home was a treat, and the spot was great. I’d have liked a smart TV so I could stream from my phone or iPad. Breakfast would have been nice, but I get that staffing is tight and it’s late season. A list of nearby breakfast spots would help, because it was hard to find one—first day of school, so many family‑owned businesses were closed.
