Only the bed was decent; the location described in the ad is a lie, the house is dirty, the bathroom is horrible with hair on the floor, no toilet paper was left, and you can hear everything and everyone passing by on the street while you sleep—an unfortunately bad experience, not recommended.

The place sits right by Sugarloaf Mountain, which made getting out and about a breeze. Inside, the shower was a bit of a let‑down – there was exposed wiring around the outlet and some mould growing, so it felt more like a basic homestay than a proper hotel. Overall, the location wins you over, but the bathroom could use a serious upgrade.

The house was spotless and nicely arranged, with everything you need in the kitchen, a TV, air‑conditioning and solid Wi‑Fi. It was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep, and the little village surrounding it was charming. Gustavo was a super host, always checking in to make sure everything was fine, and I’d definitely book this spot again.
