There were no light bulbs in the one wobbly lamp, the shower had lukewarm water, most of the electrical outlets were in a single multi‑plug and some seemed unsafe to use, and the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all.

The beds were comfy, the bedding spot‑on, and the furniture looked solid; the fridge, oven, and microwave were all there. The spot was great and quiet. Woodstock is a lovely little town and the staff were very courteous.

The place was pet‑friendly and the location was convenient. The bedside lamp was broken – no bulb. The bathroom light was dead, so I showered in the dark. The exterior light that should have helped me unload the car didn’t work. The shower didn’t drain, only half the water came out the tap, and the tub filled up fast. They only provided one washcloth for two people. We were put way out in a dark bush area beside a garbage dump with old toilets stacked outside. My dog had to walk to that dump to relieve itself; they could have placed us near a grassy spot. Totally disappointed.
