“A beautiful and peaceful boutique stay by the sea, with wonderful rooms, great views and very kind staff.”
We had a wonderful stay at La Semaya Beach Villas. The rooms were beautiful, stylish, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was bright and spacious, with both a shower and a bathtub. We loved the view over the garden, pool and sea. The whole property feels small, peaceful and very boutique, with only eight rooms. The pool was clean and had a beautiful sea view. The garden, plants and trees were very well maintained and matched the style of the property perfectly. Every morning we could watch the sunrise over the sea. The staff were very kind and helpful. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay, and they prepared a lovely surprise in our room with flowers and towel decorations. They also offered to arrange a cake for us. It was a very nice personal touch and made our stay even more special. The only small point is that there are only four sun loungers and two parasols by the pool for eight rooms. A few more would be nice if space allows. However, even when the property was fully booked, this was never really a problem for us.

View from the room is breathtaking. Property right on the beach. Breakfast was good: toast with eggs and juice/coffee. Car/bikes could be rented from the hotel itself for sightseeing. Pick up/drop to port was arranged by hotel. Swimming pool, bed and room were maintained very clean. Food needs to be ordered from the menu and reaches within half an hour. Very courteous staff. The location is a bit far from port. Breakfast cereal/flakes could be a valuable addition. No restaurant available at the hotel premises.
The views are stunning and the vibe is truly one‑of‑a‑kind. It’s a perfect spot to unwind completely and enjoy a few days of pure relaxation, surrounded by nature in an exotic, rejuvenating setting far from everything else. The rooms are very spacious, well‑kept, and spotless. The bathrooms are also large and especially pleasant, offering both a shower and a tub to choose from. It’s an ideal place for anyone seeking peace and wanting to feel genuinely on vacation. However, the atmosphere shifts a lot depending on how many people are around: when it’s busier, the place inevitably loses some of the calm and charm it has during quieter moments. Because it’s completely immersed in nature, you might also run into a few unwanted guests in your room. Regarding breakfast, it would help to list all the options more clearly: the menu mainly shows the classic breakfasts, but we found out by asking that you can also order local dishes like mie goreng and nasi goreng. They’re really good and absolutely worth trying, so it’s a bit of a shame not to know they’re available right away!
