The location is PERFECT if travelling on the autobahn, but also if visiting the town Alsfeld or the wider region. We came from Calais (after Channel Tunnel from England that morning) heading for Dresden and this hotel is the perfect halfway point along the way, arriving at dinner time with a comfy bed waiting for you. Lovely welcoming staff. Superbly clean room, as is the hotel overall. The adjacent town Alsfeld old town center is GEORGEOUS, many good dinner options there, or plenty fast food options near the hotel. The hotel restaurant is currently not working in the evening, but the breakfast buffet is fantastic. and they make SUBLIME scrambled eggs!!!. I can't fault it
