The spot is right in the middle of town and the host was super helpful – he even noticed our washed clothes left on the sink and moved them onto the laundry rack, which was a nice touch. The room comes with a fridge and a kettle, and there are fruit stalls just around the corner. Getting out toward Berat is quick from here, but you have to watch out for the tiny steep lane that leads up to the hotel.

The staff were genuinely warm and the hotel sits right in the city centre with a handy parking spot. Unfortunately the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cared for – the hot water was spotty, the air‑conditioning struggled, and overall the cleaning left a lot to be desired.

The staff were really pleasant and the owner went out of his way to keep us comfortable. On the downside the Wi‑Fi was pretty flaky, we found ants in the bathroom and the mattresses showed obvious signs of heavy use.

The employees were always ready to help whenever we needed something. The only drawback was the Wi‑Fi, which kept dropping, though it was still usable for basic tasks.

The team was extremely accommodating and could answer any request, and they all spoke Italian fluently. The room, however, had a faint lingering smell of cigarettes as soon as we walked in.
