“Exceptional staff and amazing views of Ella rock. A highlight of our time in Sri Lanka”
We adored our time at OnRock and only wish we’d booked here from the start; after a terrible night at a different hotel, we moved over the next day, and the night manager guided us through the facilities late that evening. Highlights included the rooftop infinity pool—perfect for watching both sunset and sunrise—luxurious bed linens, a powerful shower, and breakfast that featured classic Sri Lankan egg hoppers, the best we’d tasted on the trip, plus excellent curries. From our room we could see Ella Rock, and the staff were outstanding—kind, chatty, professional, and always eager to help. The polished concrete and sleek modern décor were attractive, but they sometimes made the space a bit noisy and slippery.
