From 3 pm to 5 pm there was a meeting in Kyoto. On Sunday I wanted to go to Shiga Prefecture, so I looked for a hotel with a parking lot and early check‑in. The location was good and I was able to follow my planned itinerary. I stayed without any meals, so I wish there had been a microwave somewhere in the building. The parking space was tight, and when I entered the car I almost hit the rear‑view mirror (fortunately no scratch). Later I noticed instructions on the wall for parking, but the staff woman who was present only watched from beside me and didn’t give any pre‑entry warnings.
