They didn’t even come to the window to check us in; nobody was at the desk, so the service was bad and I’ll never return. I travel a lot to Texas. I didn’t get to see the property; it looked very shady, and nobody came to the window, so they weren’t honestly interested in doing business with people. It wasn’t worth my drive, especially because I drive a commercial truck and there was nowhere to park the truck, so I guess it worked out that I couldn’t stay there.

The room was clean and the linens were also clean. The walls were paper thin, so we could hear neighbors talking. The A/C was either freezing or hot, with no middle ground.

The hotel itself was a solid choice, with clean and spacious rooms that made for a comfortable stay. However, the pool area was a bit of a letdown - it was literally right next to the highway, so the constant noise from the traffic made it hard to relax. Still, the rooms themselves were a highlight, with all the essentials and a few nice touches that made our stay feel a bit more special.
