The location was great, catching the bus into town was easy, the free parking was convenient, and the bathroom was clean with toiletries provided, but the beds were terrible, my friend got itchy spots from a blanket that might have been bed bugs, it was noisy and felt like a backpackers hostel, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

The place is close to two pubs and two cafés that serve breakfast within a 10‑minute walk, and there’s a car park at the back, but it can’t hold many cars; the ground‑floor room at the front of the building was quite dark, curtains were stuck shut and hard to open, and the high‑back beds blocked light from the bay window, so a different furniture layout would have made it feel warmer.
