“Beautiful”
We stayed a week, even during a storm, and the beach and lodging held up; the host was lovely and did everything to keep us comfortable. The rooms were nice, with a traditional Khmer‑style shower that was refreshing, and mosquito nets surrounded the beds. The food was amazing, especially the Lok Lak, and the beach was clean with staff picking up any sea‑washed rubbish. We saw plankton, and the host Danny gave us tips on the best viewing spots. I’d definitely recommend staying here. The only downside is the lack of nearby shops, so bring what you need. The walk from the car park to the accommodation is about 13 minutes by tuk‑tuk, mostly flat, and mosquitoes are plentiful, so bring plenty of spray. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and special.
“A place and people to remember forever!”
I can’t even begin to describe this place – I stayed in April and still think about its magic and its people. If you’re after comfort, hot showers, Wi‑Fi, or more equipment, this might not be it. But if you want a great vibe, lovely people, tasty food, quiet nature, and the most amazing beach ever (nothing at Kho Rong compares), this is your spot. Plus, the dogs are everywhere – you’ll always have a few around. The food is delicious, and you’ll never want to leave this little oasis. Find a hammock, watch the sunset, eat, cuddle the dogs, chat with the folks, and you’ll have the best time ever. Dani is warm‑hearted, and the volunteers and team supporting him are all great people. Wishing you all the best, and I hope to return someday – keep up the great work and maybe you can win over capitalism!
“Love start here”
The paradise-like setting is ideal for relaxation, meditation, and inner peace. Secret spot. Mosquitoes, but you get used to them.
“Great stay”
The beach is fantastic, with calm and quiet that’s unrivaled, though it can be a bit noisy at night, but nothing compared to other beaches.
“Parfait pour se déconnecter et rencontrer des gens !”
The staff were all super friendly and attentive. The common areas are perfect for taking your time and chatting with people, it feels good. The setting is gorgeous, right in the jungle and by the sea. The sunsets are amazing. The bathroom was great (room with private bathroom). The food is good but a bit pricey (that’s the cost to bring food on site). Adding fans would be welcome; it gets really hot in the bungalows.
