The antique furniture was lovely and everything was spotless; the area is quiet, close to the metro and supermarkets, and the last ring bus stops near the station, which is convenient. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, and the fan doesn’t help much in the heat.

We could cook, which is often a surprise because many places lack enough kitchen tools; here we had everything needed for pasta, breakfast, and meat, plus tapware and a small kettle. Those details were much appreciated, so we left the room tidy and grateful. The bedroom isn’t the most modern, but the bed was very comfortable and we were happy. No air conditioning was a pity and it was a bit hot, but we slept fine with the fan.

The place was clean and tidy, with plenty of napkins, soap, and kitchen supplies. The bathroom and bedroom were good, and we enjoyed the coffee that was offered. The only issue was the lack of an air conditioner for the Italian heat, but we managed with a fan. It’s a bit far from the center, about a 7‑minute walk to the metro. I recommend it.

The apartment was on the second floor, very comfortable and clean, styled in a vintage way. The kitchen had everything needed: pots, pans, lids, glasses, cups, plates, bowls (except a kettle), cutlery, cutting board… A pleasant surprise was two bottles of water in the fridge and coffee and tea for the start of the stay. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan. The windows were leaky, so outside noises came in. Towels were changed every three days. The host was very good. Near the street you can get unlimited drinking water. About a 10‑minute walk to Lidl and Eurospin. The C line metro is about a 15‑minute walk – you can get to the Colosseum in under 20 minutes, or transfer to line A at San Giovanni. Night bus service (the metro doesn’t run at night). The place is quite far from the center; on average it took us 50‑60 minutes to reach the places we wanted in the center (except the Colosseum, which was direct). The area was quiet, and night returns were not an issue. We sincerely recommend this place and the host. The pillows were too high; after talking with the host we found one that was a bit lower.
