“Chán”
With a room price around 900k, it was almost a two‑star hotel, but the service was awful. The host seemed to store all the furniture before guests arrived. 1. The hair dryer was missing, contrary to the advertisement. 2. The TV was disconnected from the cable and unusable; when I asked, they said no one watches TV. 3. There was no fridge or instant water – neither were advertised, but I noted that guests needing full amenities should not book. 4. The floor was dirty and the bed linens were dirty. 5. The host’s husband was friendly and enthusiastic, but the mother‑in‑law was a bit difficult; the service needs review and adjustment. 6. If you’re afraid of cockroaches, don’t book; the makeup table in the room wouldn’t open, and when it finally opened, 2–3 cockroaches crawled out. 7. No elevator. 8. No front desk staff; the host doubles as the front desk and closes at 9pm. 9. The host seemed to have a switch to cut the outlet power in the room; when I arrived, the fan still worked, but when I plugged in my phone charger, it didn’t get power; plugging other chargers didn’t work either. After texting the host, five seconds later the outlet had power again – scary. Also the outlet power was cut, not like a normal outage, and no charge for the room. 10. The electricity in this area is weak, or the house is high; power cuts every 5–10 minutes, exhausting.
